Julie Fowler
Executive Director
With over 20 years in the festival industry and as a founding member of the BC Music Festival Collective, Julie Fowler became the Executive Director of the BCMFC in January 2024. She comes with a wealth of experience in the music industry and the non-profit sector, having been the Executive/Artistic Director of Island Mountain Arts/ArtsWells Festival for 17 years. She has sat on the boards of other Art Service Organizations including BC Museums Association (2008-2012), Arts BC (2014-2020), Folk Music Canada (2015-2023) and Folk Music Ontario/Folk Canada (2024-present) and founded and ran the Northern Exposure Industry Conference in Wells from 2015-2020. Julie currently coordinates the Ignite the Arts Festival (2022-present) in snpintktn (Penticton) and does consulting for 2 Rivers Remix Festival (2021-present). In 2020, Julie was honoured with two prestigious awards for her work in the arts, the BC Achievement Foundation Community Award and the BC Museums Association Distinguished Service Award.

Holly Moes
Membership Assistant
Holly Moes is a born-and-raised British Columbian with a background in events, project management, non-profits and people operations. She has been involved in the music industry for almost 15 years, both in Vancouver and Vancouver Island working with music festivals, artists, producers and venues.

Anna Hilliar
President
Anna Hilliar has 20+ years of experience producing arts and music events. She has worked on a range of events, from organizing grassroots festivals like Under the Volcano and Sistahood Celebration to working at large-scale music festivals. Her expertise is wide-ranging and includes artist hospitality and management, booking small and large venues, volunteer management and programming multidisciplinary events with a focus on community engagement. She currently works as a promoter rep for Timbre Concerts, the Production Manager for Bass Coast Festival and a founding member of the BC Music Festival Collective.
As the Production Manager for Bass Coast, Anna brings dedication and expertise to all projects, including the management of artists, building strong relationships and fostering effective communication.

Corrine Bundschuh
Board Member
Corrine is an accomplished festival producer, event manager, and dance educator with over two decades of experience in shaping successful large-scale events and arts initiatives. As a founding team member and Executive Producer for the internationally renowned Shambhala Music Festival, Corrine managed production, safety, and entertainment operations, eventually overseeing more than 2,000 staff. She launched CAZ Productions to offer diverse festival and event services, including stage production, consultation, and strategic planning, and she established Miss Corrine’s School of Dance, specializing in Flamenco, Ballet, and Dance Conditioning.
Corrine holds a Certified Festival & Event Executive (CFEE) credential, completed training in emergency management, and is pursuing her Master of Global Management at Royal Roads University. She frequently shares her expertise through teaching, public speaking, and consulting engagements. Driven by a passion for innovative event design and community building, Corrine remains dedicated to enhancing the cultural and economic impact of festivals and events.

Eileen Stephens
Board Member
Eileen Stephens has degrees in media studies and visual arts and is an MPP candidate in public policy and digital society at McMaster University. They have supported boards of directors as staff and have worked in art galleries, community arts councils, and as an industrial embroiderer. They have organized music and poetry festivals, and before joining the BCMFC's board, they served on municipal and provincial boards of directors for arts organizations and non-profits. Their research interests include cultural policy, online and offline community organizing, and internet cultures. When not online, they can be found at the nearest yarn or fabric store, adding more projects to their to do list. Sometimes they follow through with knitting or sewing the thing.

James Still
Board Member
James Still is a passionate advocate for the arts and community-driven events. For the past four years he has been the Technical Director of 2 Rivers Remix, a touring Indigenous music and culture festival that brings large-scale performances to remote communities across British Columbia. Through this work he is proud to support 2RMX’s mandate to empower Indigenous youth, women, and 2-Spirit individuals through contemporary cultural expression.
Born in Williams Lake, BC, James found his footing in the world of live music while growing up in the foster care system. Small rock shows inspired him to learn the ropes of sound and lighting, eventually leading him to Selkirk College in Nelson for music and sound production and then on to work with many festivals and venues including with Meeka Morgan on the transformative 2 Rivers Remix project. This work has shaped his life and deepened his connection to Indigenous culture, reminding him of the power of storytelling and shared experiences.

Kevin McIsaac
Board Member
Kevin McIsaac has been organizing events for over 20 years. He has worked on food, culture, and national sporting events. His background includes 20+ years as a project manager in a wide variety of tech companies. As well, Kevin is a founding member of the Wapiti Music Festival in Fernie, BC, now in its 13th year. He is also a founding member of the BC Music Festival Collective. Kevin is a city councillor in Fernie and has worked developing policy and with a broad range of organizations to help them be successful in their endeavours.
