BC MUSIC FESTIVAL COLLECTIVE

THE BRITISH COLUMBIA MUSIC FESTIVAL COLLECTIVE (BCMFC) IS A NON-PROFIT INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION THAT WAS FORMED IN APRIL 2020 AT THE ONSET OF THE PANDEMIC TO PROVIDE A COMMON VOICE AND SHARED SPACE TO BC’S MUSIC FESTIVAL INDUSTRY. FESTIVAL MEMBERS INCLUDE NON-PROFITS AND FOR-PROFITS, ALL GENRES AND SIZES FROM ACROSS ALL REGIONS OF OUR PROVINCE. MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO ANY MUSIC FESTIVAL BASED IN BC.

BCMFC in the news

In response to the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the live music industry, independent music festival producers across BC have banded together to form the British Columbia Music Festival Collective.The Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival is the sole Victoria representative participating in the collective. Other Vancouver Island festivals part of the group include Laketown Shakedown, Sunfest, Islands Folk Festival and Cumberland Wild.
